About Loganlea
The district's first post office opened in 1871 near a hotel and Cobb and Co stop, and Loganlea station started operating in April 1885. Through the middle of the 1900s dairy studs worked the land, including the Armstrong family's Riverdale farm, which lasted into the 1970s. Housing went up through the 1970s and 1980s, the high school opened in 1981, and Meadowbrook was split off in 1991.
Detached homes on larger established blocks often have plenty of roof, while newer high-density housing may suit smaller systems, so the right size depends heavily on which part of Loganlea you live in.
