|---|---|
| 10kWh | $5,000 to $9,000 |

What changes the price
- Roof type and pitch: tiles take longer than tin, and steep or high roofs need extra safety equipment.
- Storeys and access.
- Switchboard condition: older boards sometimes need an upgrade.
- Component brands, especially the inverter.
- Three phase supply and export limiting requirements.
Why the cheapest quote can cost more
A system is a 25-year purchase. Saving $800 upfront on an unknown inverter that fails in year six, with no local support, costs far more in lost generation and replacement. Compare quotes on components, warranties and who will actually answer the phone later.
