EV charger installation in Albany Creek
A 7kW home charger adds around 40km of range an hour, and with solar it can cost close to nothing.
EV chargers for Albany Creek, planned around your home
A standard power point adds only about 10km of range an hour. A dedicated 7kW wall charger is around four times faster, and a solar-aware charger can soak up your surplus solar during the day instead of exporting it for a few cents.
We check your switchboard and main supply, recommend single or three phase charging, and install the charger neatly where your car actually parks. In Albany Creek we can also pair the charger with new solar or a battery so it all works together.
North Brisbane and Moreton Bay run from Albany Creek and Strathpine through North Lakes and Narangba to Caboolture and Bribie Island, taking in the Redcliffe Peninsula and acreage around Samford and Dayboro. From Albany Creek to nearby Brendale and Bridgeman Downs, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.

Getting to know Albany Creek
Two Aboriginal tracks crossed here, and the main one is now Old Northern Road. The area was first called Chinaman's Creek, but in 1885 locals pushed for a change and chose a name honouring the Duke of Albany. The school opened in 1875, and the South Pine Bridge at Cashs Crossing was finished in 1892. Suburban growth arrived from the 1960s, with several new schools between 1979 and 1989.
With no railway in the suburb, most trips are by car, so households thinking about an electric vehicle may want to allow extra panel capacity for home charging when sizing a system.

Call 0449 942 735How much does it cost to install an EV charger?
A 7kW charger is typically $1,000 to $2,300 installed. If your switchboard needs an upgrade, allow another $800 to $2,200. We give a fixed price after a quick check.
Can I charge my EV from solar?
Yes. A solar-aware charger adjusts its charging speed to match your surplus solar, so you use your own power instead of exporting it. It works best if the car is home during the day.
Do I need three phase power?
