Solar panels in Wamuran, installed properly
A family solar company that measures your roof, explains the numbers and installs it right the first time.
Why Wamuran homes choose RS Energy for solar panels
Plenty of companies sell solar on price alone. We sell it on quality, because a system that is designed and installed well keeps paying you back for decades. Every Wamuran quote starts with a free measure of your roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Wamuran makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Wamuran is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
North Brisbane and Moreton Bay run from Albany Creek and Strathpine through North Lakes and Narangba to Caboolture and Bribie Island, taking in the Redcliffe Peninsula and acreage around Samford and Dayboro. Our solar panels work in Wamuran also covers neighbouring Moodlu, Waraba and Corymbia, all within about 7km.
- Plenty of Wamuran properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

Wamuran: a local snapshot
The locality took its name from the railway station, which honoured Menvil Wanmaurn, a local Aboriginal man also known as Jacky Delaney. St Martin's Anglican Church was dedicated as early as 1871. A Baptist church and a provisional school both opened in 1921, the school later becoming Wamuran State School. Some land went to new localities such as Greenstone and Corymbia in 2023.
West of Caboolture and south east of D'Aguilar, Wamuran is farming country, and drivers often stop at the roadside stalls for strawberries and pineapples. Pockets of Beerburrum West State Forest dot the north, the Caboolture River forms part of the south west boundary and the Kilcoy railway line runs through. The local primary school had about 300 students in 2017.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Wamuran?
Most Wamuran homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Wamuran?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Wamuran?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Wamuran 4512 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Wamuran is part of our North Brisbane & Moreton Bay service area in the City of Moreton Bay area, and we regularly work in Moodlu, Waraba, Corymbia, Wagtail Grove. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
