EV charger installation in Bracken Ridge
A 7kW home charger adds around 40km of range an hour, and with solar it can cost close to nothing.
Why Bracken Ridge homes choose RS Energy for ev chargers
A standard power point adds only about 10km of range an hour. A dedicated 7kW wall charger is around four times faster, and a solar-aware charger can soak up your surplus solar during the day instead of exporting it for a few cents.
We check your switchboard and main supply, recommend single or three phase charging, and install the charger neatly where your car actually parks. In Bracken Ridge we can also pair the charger with new solar or a battery so it all works together.

Bracken Ridge: a local snapshot
Early settlers found bracken fern growing everywhere, so they named their property after it, and the name carried into an estate and then the suburb. Land first sold in August 1857, and John McPherson and James Ferguson became the first to actually settle in 1862. The suburb as we know it was established in the 1960s, with estates like The Oaks, Enbrook Heights and Sungate following.
Homes on Bracken Ridge's hillier streets often catch sun from the bay side early, and an east-west panel split can stretch generation across the day for busy family households.

Call 0449 942 735How much does it cost to install an EV charger?
A 7kW charger is typically $1,000 to $2,300 installed. If your switchboard needs an upgrade, allow another $800 to $2,200. We give a fixed price after a quick check.
Can I charge my EV from solar?
Yes. A solar-aware charger adjusts its charging speed to match your surplus solar, so you use your own power instead of exporting it. It works best if the car is home during the day.
