EV charger installation in Kuraby
A 7kW home charger adds around 40km of range an hour, and with solar it can cost close to nothing.
EV chargers for Kuraby, planned around your home
A standard power point adds only about 10km of range an hour. A dedicated 7kW wall charger is around four times faster, and a solar-aware charger can soak up your surplus solar during the day instead of exporting it for a few cents.
We check your switchboard and main supply, recommend single or three phase charging, and install the charger neatly where your car actually parks. In Kuraby we can also pair the charger with new solar or a battery so it all works together.
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake. From Kuraby to nearby Underwood and Runcorn, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.

Getting to know Kuraby
Clearing for farms began in 1860 under the Holloson and Baker families. Kuraby station opened on the South Coast line in 1885, and that is when the name came into use; it refers to a nearby creek. Spring Creek Township went on sale in 1887, the state school opened in 1928, and the suburb was formally gazetted in August 1975.
Estate homes on former farmland tend to have open, unshaded roofs that capture full sun, making it easy to fit enough panels to cover daytime cooling and still charge a battery for the evening.

Call 0449 942 735How much does it cost to install an EV charger?
A 7kW charger is typically $1,000 to $2,300 installed. If your switchboard needs an upgrade, allow another $800 to $2,200. We give a fixed price after a quick check.
Can I charge my EV from solar?
Yes. A solar-aware charger adjusts its charging speed to match your surplus solar, so you use your own power instead of exporting it. It works best if the car is home during the day.
