EV charger installation in Palm Beach
A 7kW home charger adds around 40km of range an hour, and with solar it can cost close to nothing.
EV Charger Installation Palm Beach: local, honest, done right
A standard power point adds only about 10km of range an hour. A dedicated 7kW wall charger is around four times faster, and a solar-aware charger can soak up your surplus solar during the day instead of exporting it for a few cents.
We check your switchboard and main supply, recommend single or three phase charging, and install the charger neatly where your car actually parks. In Palm Beach we can also pair the charger with new solar or a battery so it all works together.
The southern Gold Coast stretches from Coolangatta and the beaches of Palm Beach and Burleigh back to Robina, Mudgeeraba and the valleys of Currumbin and Tallebudgera, with everything from beachfront units to acreage. We look after Palm Beach and the surrounding suburbs of Currumbin, Elanora and West Burleigh, so a free on-site measure in 4221 is easy to book.
- Being close to the water, Palm Beach gets salt-laden sea breezes. We use corrosion-resistant racking, stainless fixings and panels and inverters rated for coastal sites, and we design to the local wind loading.

About Palm Beach
The first church, a Baptist one on Ninth Avenue, opened in 1928, and the surf club was formed in 1930. Palm Beach-Currumbin State High School opened in 1972, with the primary school two years later. In 2019 a shoreline project added sand to the beach and built an artificial reef. The population grew from 14,654 in 2016 to 16,349 in 2021.
With the ocean on one side and two creeks on the others, Palm Beach homes live with salty, humid air, so marine-rated panels, rails and fixings belong on the checklist.

Call 0449 942 735How much does it cost to install an EV charger?
A 7kW charger is typically $1,000 to $2,300 installed. If your switchboard needs an upgrade, allow another $800 to $2,200. We give a fixed price after a quick check.
Can I charge my EV from solar?
Yes. A solar-aware charger adjusts its charging speed to match your surplus solar, so you use your own power instead of exporting it. It works best if the car is home during the day.
