Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Park Ridge, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Park Ridge homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Park Ridge makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Park Ridge is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. From Park Ridge to nearby Heritage Park and Crestmead, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Newer homes in Park Ridge usually have clean, unshaded roofs and modern switchboards, which keeps installs quick. Estate covenants rarely restrict solar, but we check before we quote.

Getting to know Park Ridge
The district was called Logan Ridges until the early 1890s, when the post office renamed it Park Ridge for its park-like look. Yorkshire settlers arrived in that decade to cut timber and farm. Tobacco took over in the early 1900s, and by the 1930s this was the centre of local tobacco farming. Poultry came later, with Ingham's a major employer. The school opened in 1895, followed by a high school in 1991.
Park Ridge keeps a rural feel, with acreage properties screened by bushland. Park Ridge Road runs east to west between the Mount Lindesay Highway and Chambers Flat Road. Hubner Park and Park Ridge District Park are the main green spaces. Schooling is well covered, with a state primary, a state high school, Saint Philomena School and Parklands Christian College. In 1996, 71 per cent of homes were owner-occupied.

Solar panels in Park Ridge: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Park Ridge?
Most Park Ridge homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Park Ridge?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Park Ridge?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Park Ridge 4125 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Park Ridge is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Heritage Park, Crestmead, Regents Park, Marsden. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
