About Coolangatta
Packed into just 1.8 square kilometres, Coolangatta runs from Kirra Hill to Point Danger on the border, taking in Kirra, Coolangatta and Greenmount beaches. Snapper Rocks, the Point Danger Lighthouse and the Kirra Hill Cultural and Community Centre are local fixtures, and the Strand Shopping Centre holds the library.
