Getting to know Windaroo
Small and tidy at 1.9 square kilometres, Windaroo is bounded by Windaroo Creek, the Albert River, Bannockburn Road and Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road. The 18-hole Windaroo Lakes Golf Club opened in 1981. Businesses that operate during daylight hours typically see payback in 3 to 5 years, because almost all the solar is used on site at your full tariff rather than exported.
What size system does my business need?
It depends on your daytime load. We use your interval data or 12 months of bills to model usage and size the system so very little goes to waste.
Is there a rebate for commercial solar?
Yes. From 1 October 2026 the federal small-scale rebate (STCs) applies to systems up to 1MW, up from the old 100kW limit, with a fixed five-year deeming period. Larger systems can still use the large-scale scheme instead. We include the rebate in your quote.
