Solar panels in Windaroo, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Windaroo, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Windaroo homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Windaroo makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Windaroo is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. From Windaroo to nearby Mount Warren Park and Yatala, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.

Getting to know Windaroo
The suburb borrows its name from the Windaroo sugar plantation, one of several 19th century ventures along the Albert River. Later the land was used for dairying and stayed rural until the late 1970s, when the Windaroo Acres rural residential estate was subdivided. Boundaries were set in June 1981, the first lots went on sale in 1983, and the area moved from the City of Gold Coast to Logan in 2008.
Small and tidy at 1.9 square kilometres, Windaroo is bounded by Windaroo Creek, the Albert River, Bannockburn Road and Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road. The 18-hole Windaroo Lakes Golf Club opened in 1981. The Memorial Peace Park holds the Australian Peacekeepers Memorial, dedicated in 2000, and there is a rugby union club and Kaiser Drive Park. The 565 bus runs to Beenleigh station and Loganholme.

Solar panels in Windaroo: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Windaroo?
Most Windaroo homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Windaroo?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Windaroo?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Windaroo 4207 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Windaroo is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Mount Warren Park, Yatala, Bahrs Scrub, Beenleigh. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
