Commercial solar for Yeronga businesses
We have delivered 60kW to 100kW systems for Aldi, BP, James Hardie and Telstra. Now we bring that experience to Yeronga businesses.
Why Yeronga homes choose RS Energy for commercial solar
Businesses use most of their power during the day, which is exactly when solar produces. That makes commercial solar one of the fastest paybacks in energy, often 3 to 5 years. RS Energy has delivered large-scale installs across Queensland for tier one clients, and we give Yeronga businesses the same standard with a family company's attention.
We start with your interval data or bills, model your load profile, then design a system that maximises self-consumption within Energex connection rules. Since 1 October 2026 the upfront small-scale rebate (STCs) covers commercial systems up to 1MW, where it used to stop at 100kW. For mid-sized systems that can take a meaningful chunk off the upfront cost, and we will show you exactly what your business qualifies for.
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake. Our commercial solar work in Yeronga also covers neighbouring Fairfield, Annerley and Yeerongpilly, all within about 2km.
- Low-lying pockets of Yeronga sit inside council flood mapping. Where it matters we mount inverters and batteries above the flood planning level and keep isolators easy to reach.
- Many Yeronga homes are character Queenslanders and older workers cottages with corrugated iron roofs. Tin roofs are quick to mount on, and we keep conduit runs neat and out of sight on heritage-style facades.

Yeronga: a local snapshot
The Brisbane River curls around the west and north, and old riverside lagoons were filled to make parks and sports fields. The 1974 and 2011 floods hit hard. Yeronga Memorial Park, Chipsy Wood Oval and Goodwin Park host croquet, rugby and football, and the station on the Beenleigh line sits opposite the Fairfield Road shops. Many heritage-listed houses remain.

Commercial solar in Yeronga: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How quickly does commercial solar pay back?
Businesses that operate during daylight hours typically see payback in 3 to 5 years, because almost all the solar is used on site at your full tariff rather than exported.
What size system does my business need?
It depends on your daytime load. We use your interval data or 12 months of bills to model usage and size the system so very little goes to waste.
Is there a rebate for commercial solar?
Yes. From 1 October 2026 the federal small-scale rebate (STCs) applies to systems up to 1MW, up from the old 100kW limit, with a fixed five-year deeming period. Larger systems can still use the large-scale scheme instead. We include the rebate in your quote.
Who have you installed for?
Projects include a 100kW system for Aldi Hervey Bay, 100kW for James Hardie Cooroy, 64kW for BP Gatton, 60kW for Telstra, 100kW for Metal Works Brisbane and 70kW for Bellissimo Coffee in Coorparoo.
