Solar repairs and inverter replacement in Yeronga
Inverter showing an error, or your bill suddenly jumped? We find the fault, fix it and tell you honestly whether repair or replacement makes sense.
Why Yeronga homes choose RS Energy for repairs & upgrades
Inverters are the hardest working part of a solar system and most last 10 to 15 years. When one fails, your panels keep sitting in the sun but you get nothing from them. Many Yeronga homes also have systems that were installed by companies no longer around.
We test the array, inverter, isolators and wiring, then give you a clear written report. If replacement makes more sense, we will quote a like-for-like inverter or a hybrid inverter that is ready for a battery.
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake. Our repairs & upgrades work in Yeronga also covers neighbouring Fairfield, Annerley and Yeerongpilly, all within about 2km.
- Low-lying pockets of Yeronga sit inside council flood mapping. Where it matters we mount inverters and batteries above the flood planning level and keep isolators easy to reach.
- Many Yeronga homes are character Queenslanders and older workers cottages with corrugated iron roofs. Tin roofs are quick to mount on, and we keep conduit runs neat and out of sight on heritage-style facades.

Yeronga: a local snapshot
The Jagera people were the first inhabitants. The first recorded land sale was in 1854, and early farmers ran dairies and grew cotton, sugar, maize, potatoes and arrowroot. Houses spread along Fairfield Road and today's Kadumba Street once the railway opened in 1884, and the last farm was subdivided in the mid-1950s. The name may come from Aboriginal words for a sandy place.

Repairs & upgrades in Yeronga: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How do I know if my solar system is faulty?
Common signs are an inverter showing a red light or error code, a blank screen during the day, a power bill that jumps without a change in usage, or monitoring that shows zero output on a sunny day.
Do you fix systems you did not install?
Yes. A lot of our repair work in Yeronga is on systems from companies that have since closed. We work on all mainstream brands.
Should I repair or replace my inverter?
If the inverter is under warranty, we will help you claim it. If it is over 10 years old and out of warranty, replacing it is usually better value than repairing, and it is a good moment to consider a battery-ready hybrid.
How often should solar panels be checked?
Every two to three years is a good rule, or sooner near the coast where salt air is harder on fixings and isolators.
Do you service Yeronga 4104 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Yeronga is part of our Brisbane Southside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Fairfield, Annerley, Yeerongpilly, Tennyson. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
