EV charger installation in Carina
A 7kW home charger adds around 40km of range an hour, and with solar it can cost close to nothing.
EV Charger Installation Carina: local, honest, done right
A standard power point adds only about 10km of range an hour. A dedicated 7kW wall charger is around four times faster, and a solar-aware charger can soak up your surplus solar during the day instead of exporting it for a few cents.
We check your switchboard and main supply, recommend single or three phase charging, and install the charger neatly where your car actually parks. In Carina we can also pair the charger with new solar or a battery so it all works together.
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake. We look after Carina and the surrounding suburbs of Cannon Hill, Carina Heights and Seven Hills, so a free on-site measure in 4152 is easy to book.

About Carina
Ebenezer Thorne owned an estate on Creek Road in the 1850s and named it after his daughter, Kate Carina, which is where the suburb got its name. Early Europeans came for farming and timber. By the 1880s and early 1900s Carina was the main settlement in the Shire of Belmont. Public housing after World War II drove fast growth through the 1950s and 1960s, and trolleybuses ran here from 1954 to 1969.
Many of the post war homes here sit on flat Bulimba Creek floodplain blocks with open roofs, though owners in low spots may want batteries and inverters mounted up high with flood levels in mind.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does it cost to install an EV charger?
A 7kW charger is typically $1,000 to $2,300 installed. If your switchboard needs an upgrade, allow another $800 to $2,200. We give a fixed price after a quick check.
Can I charge my EV from solar?
Yes. A solar-aware charger adjusts its charging speed to match your surplus solar, so you use your own power instead of exporting it. It works best if the car is home during the day.
Do I need three phase power?
No. Most homes are well served by a 7kW single phase charger, which comfortably fills most cars overnight. Three phase allows 11kW to 22kW if your home already has it.
