EV charger installation in Carina Heights
Charge your car overnight or straight from your solar. A neat, safe home charger installed by electricians who understand solar.
EV Charger Installation Carina Heights: local, honest, done right
A standard power point adds only about 10km of range an hour. A dedicated 7kW wall charger is around four times faster, and a solar-aware charger can soak up your surplus solar during the day instead of exporting it for a few cents.
We check your switchboard and main supply, recommend single or three phase charging, and install the charger neatly where your car actually parks. In Carina Heights we can also pair the charger with new solar or a battery so it all works together.
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake. We look after Carina Heights and the surrounding suburbs of Camp Hill, Carindale and Carina, so a free on-site measure in 4152 is easy to book.

About Carina Heights
Carina Heights was formally split away from Carina in 1975. Its name follows its neighbour, which in turn came from an 1850s Creek Road estate that Ebenezer Thorne named after his daughter, Kate Carina Thorne. Pine Mountain in the south was once quarried, and the old quarry site is now used for recycling asphalt. Beyond that, the suburb's story is mostly one of quiet residential growth on the hills.
Hillside blocks around Pine Mountain and Whites Hill Reserve can mean steep driveways, varied roof angles and tree shading, so panel layout and microinverters or optimisers are often worth weighing up here.

Call 0449 942 735How much does it cost to install an EV charger?
A 7kW charger is typically $1,000 to $2,300 installed. If your switchboard needs an upgrade, allow another $800 to $2,200. We give a fixed price after a quick check.
Can I charge my EV from solar?
Yes. A solar-aware charger adjusts its charging speed to match your surplus solar, so you use your own power instead of exporting it. It works best if the car is home during the day.
Do I need three phase power?
