EV charger installation in Grange
A 7kW home charger adds around 40km of range an hour, and with solar it can cost close to nothing.
EV Charger Installation Grange: local, honest, done right
A standard power point adds only about 10km of range an hour. A dedicated 7kW wall charger is around four times faster, and a solar-aware charger can soak up your surplus solar during the day instead of exporting it for a few cents.
We check your switchboard and main supply, recommend single or three phase charging, and install the charger neatly where your car actually parks. In Grange we can also pair the charger with new solar or a battery so it all works together.
Brisbane's west takes in leafy riverside suburbs like Indooroopilly, Kenmore and Chapel Hill, the Centenary suburbs, and hillier, tree-lined streets around The Gap, Ashgrove and Ferny Grove where shading needs careful planning. We look after Grange and the surrounding suburbs of Alderley, Stafford and Gordon Park, so a free on-site measure in 4051 is easy to book.
- Many Grange homes are character Queenslanders and older workers cottages with corrugated iron roofs. Tin roofs are quick to mount on, and we keep conduit runs neat and out of sight on heritage-style facades.

About Grange
A tannery and fellmongery were working the land in the 1860s. Suburban life started in 1903 when T. K. Peate's property was carved up as the Grange Estate, and the name likely traces back to an Old English word for granary. Trams reached the area in July 1928, and the Valleys Diehards have played at Emerson Park since 1971.
Homes near Kedron Brook may sit lower and closer to the waterway, so battery placement deserves thought. Up toward The Pinnacle, elevated roofs generally receive good sun with less overshadowing.

Call 0449 942 735How much does it cost to install an EV charger?
A 7kW charger is typically $1,000 to $2,300 installed. If your switchboard needs an upgrade, allow another $800 to $2,200. We give a fixed price after a quick check.
Can I charge my EV from solar?
Yes. A solar-aware charger adjusts its charging speed to match your surplus solar, so you use your own power instead of exporting it. It works best if the car is home during the day.
Do I need three phase power?
