Solar panels for Bethania, planned around your home

Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Bethania homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.

A typical 6.6kW system in Bethania makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Bethania is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. From Bethania to nearby Edens Landing and Tanah Merah, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.

  • Low-lying pockets of Bethania sit inside council flood mapping. Where it matters we mount inverters and batteries above the flood planning level and keep isolators easy to reach.

Getting to know Bethania

German settlers founded Bethania in the 1860s, naming it after the biblical village of Bethany. They built a Lutheran church in 1864 and started a cemetery in 1866, the same year a small township was recorded. The present church dates from 1872 and is listed on the Queensland Heritage Register. A Lutheran primary school followed much later, opening in January 1976.

South of the Logan River, Bethania has low riverside land that is prone to flooding. Duck Island became part of the suburb after the river channel silted up, and sand and gravel have been dug from the alluvial flats. Bethania station sits on the Beenleigh line, though the old Beaudesert line has been out of use since 2004. Palm Lake Resort is also here.

How much does solar cost in Bethania?

Most Bethania homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.

What size solar system do I need in Bethania?

Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.

Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?

Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.

How long does installation take?

Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.

Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Bethania?

Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.

Do you service Bethania 4205 and nearby suburbs?

Yes. Bethania is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Edens Landing, Tanah Merah, Waterford, Meadowbrook. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
