Solar Panels Bray Park: local, honest, done right

Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Bray Park system around your roof, your shading and your bills.

A typical 6.6kW system in Bray Park makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Bray Park is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

North Brisbane and Moreton Bay run from Albany Creek and Strathpine through North Lakes and Narangba to Caboolture and Bribie Island, taking in the Redcliffe Peninsula and acreage around Samford and Dayboro. We look after Bray Park and the surrounding suburbs of Lawnton, Warner and Strathpine, so a free on-site measure in 4500 is easy to book.

About Bray Park

Thomas Nathaniel Bray set up a dairy on Gympie Road in 1900, and his son John took it over. John Sanders Bray went on to serve as a Pine Rivers Shire councillor from 1946 and as shire chairman from 1950 to 1973, and the suburb was named in his honour in April 1970. Schools followed quickly, from Bray Park State School in 1973 to Genesis Christian College in 1991.

Four Mile Creek forms the southern edge, the North Coast railway the eastern one. Les Hughes Sporting Complex on Francis Road caters for rugby league, rugby union, baseball, netball and basketball, plus a skate park. Nine named parks are dotted around, including John Bray Park. Four schools cover primary to Year 12, and the nearest train stations are Strathpine's Bray Park station and Lawnton.

How much does solar cost in Bray Park?

Most Bray Park homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.

What size solar system do I need in Bray Park?

Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.

Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?

Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.

How long does installation take?

Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.

Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Bray Park?

Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.

Do you service Bray Park 4500 and nearby suburbs?

Yes. Bray Park is part of our North Brisbane & Moreton Bay service area in the City of Moreton Bay area, and we regularly work in Lawnton, Warner, Strathpine, Joyner. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
