Solar Panels Bridgeman Downs: local, honest, done right
Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Bridgeman Downs system around your roof, your shading and your bills.
A typical 6.6kW system in Bridgeman Downs makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Bridgeman Downs is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's northside ranges from the grand old homes of Ascot, Hamilton and Clayfield to family suburbs like Aspley, Chermside and Bracken Ridge and the bayside villages of Sandgate and Shorncliffe. We look after Bridgeman Downs and the surrounding suburbs of Carseldine, Aspley and Albany Creek, so a free on-site measure in 4035 is easy to book.

About Bridgeman Downs
Henry St John Bridgeman bought land between Albany Creek Road, Bridgeman Road and Beams Road in November 1860, and his name lives on in the suburb. For a long time the area was known for large acreage properties rather than streets of houses. The Anglican Church of the Resurrection was consecrated in 1981, and suburban housing estates spread in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Some acreage remains among the newer estates, about 15 kilometres north of the city. Chermside Hills Reserve and around two dozen parks provide green space, and Pinnaroo Cemetery and Crematorium is on Graham Street. Shops at McDowall village and Metro on Beckett serve the south, with Aspley Hypermarket to the north. Beckett Road is the main bus corridor.

Solar panels in Bridgeman Downs: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Bridgeman Downs?
Most Bridgeman Downs homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Bridgeman Downs?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Bridgeman Downs?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Bridgeman Downs 4035 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Bridgeman Downs is part of our Brisbane Northside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Carseldine, Aspley, Albany Creek, Chermside West. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
