Solar panels for Caboolture South, planned around your home

A typical 6.6kW system in Caboolture South makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Caboolture South is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. Getting to know Caboolture South
The name simply marks the land south of the original Caboolture township, itself drawn from a Yugarabul term for place of the carpet snake. Education has deep roots: Caboolture State School opened in 1873, was renamed Caboolture South State School in 1890 and then Morayfield State School in 1908. The Caboolture Special School opened in January 1980.
The Caboolture River wraps around the north and west, and Cundoor Creek forms the eastern edge. The railway cuts the suburb in two, with homes and services on the western side and industry and farmland to the east. Market Plaza on Morayfield Road handles the weekly shop, and the riverside Arboretum on Mainsail Drive has walking paths and duck ponds. Leemon Park is another green spot.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Caboolture South?
Most Caboolture South homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Caboolture South?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Caboolture South?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Caboolture South 4510 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Caboolture South is part of our North Brisbane & Moreton Bay service area in the City of Moreton Bay area, and we regularly work in Morayfield, Bellmere, Caboolture, Lilywood. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
