Solar panels for Caboolture, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Caboolture homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Caboolture makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Caboolture is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
North Brisbane and Moreton Bay run from Albany Creek and Strathpine through North Lakes and Narangba to Caboolture and Bribie Island, taking in the Redcliffe Peninsula and acreage around Samford and Dayboro. Getting to know Caboolture
Free settlers could take up land here from 1842 once the Moreton Bay penal colony closed. Pastoralists experimented with cotton and sugar in the 1860s, a trading settlement formed in 1867 and Cobb and Co coaches stopped on the way to the Gympie goldfields. The post office came in 1869, a shire in 1879 and the railway in 1888. The name is said to mean place of the carpet snake.
Sitting on the northern bank of the Caboolture River, this is the most northerly urban centre of greater Brisbane and a busy transport hub at the end of the Caboolture line. The Caboolture Hub houses the library and gallery, and Centenary Lakes, the Historical Village and the Abbey Museum are local favourites. Bribie Island and Beachmere are a short drive east.

Solar panels in Caboolture: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Caboolture?
Most Caboolture homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Caboolture?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Caboolture?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Caboolture 4510 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Caboolture is part of our North Brisbane & Moreton Bay service area in the City of Moreton Bay area, and we regularly work in Elimbah, Caboolture South, Bellmere, Morayfield. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
