Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Eagle Farm, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Eagle Farm homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Eagle Farm makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Eagle Farm is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's northside ranges from the grand old homes of Ascot, Hamilton and Clayfield to family suburbs like Aspley, Chermside and Bracken Ridge and the bayside villages of Sandgate and Shorncliffe. Getting to know Eagle Farm
Captain Patrick Logan picked this spot in 1829 to grow maize and raise pigs and cattle, and from 1834 women convicts worked the fields. The name, thought to come from eagles seen around the farm, appeared in 1839. A school opened in 1864 and the railway arrived in 1897. US Navy Seabees ran a camp here from 1943 to 1945, and the old Eagle Farm Airport gave way to Brisbane Airport in 1988.
Hardly anyone lives here, only 11 people at the 2021 count. Apart from the Royal Queensland Golf Club, which runs down to the Brisbane River, it is industrial land within Australia TradeCoast. Heritage sites include the women's prison and factory site, Hangar No. 7 and the Allison engine testing stands. TAFE Queensland SkillsTech has a campus here, and a robotics manufacturing centre is under way.

Solar panels in Eagle Farm: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Eagle Farm?
Most Eagle Farm homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Eagle Farm?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Eagle Farm?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Eagle Farm 4009 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Eagle Farm is part of our Brisbane Northside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Ascot, Hendra, Hamilton, Balmoral. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
