Going solar in Eagle Farm
Brisbane's northside ranges from the grand old homes of Ascot, Hamilton and Clayfield to family suburbs like Aspley, Chermside and Bracken Ridge and the bayside villages of Sandgate and Shorncliffe.
Brisbane covers everything from Queenslanders with tin roofs and tight inner-city lots to big brick homes in the southern and western suburbs. Every roof is different, which is why we measure and design each one on site.
Eagle Farm is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Eagle Farm: history and local area
Captain Patrick Logan picked this spot in 1829 to grow maize and raise pigs and cattle, and from 1834 women convicts worked the fields. The name, thought to come from eagles seen around the farm, appeared in 1839. A school opened in 1864 and the railway arrived in 1897. US Navy Seabees ran a camp here from 1943 to 1945, and the old Eagle Farm Airport gave way to Brisbane Airport in 1988.
Hardly anyone lives here, only 11 people at the 2021 count. Apart from the Royal Queensland Golf Club, which runs down to the Brisbane River, it is industrial land within Australia TradeCoast. Heritage sites include the women's prison and factory site, Hangar No. 7 and the Allison engine testing stands. TAFE Queensland SkillsTech has a campus here, and a robotics manufacturing centre is under way.
Large, flat industrial and warehouse roofs here suit commercial-scale arrays, where daytime operating hours line up well with peak solar generation.
