Solar panels in Hamilton, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Hamilton, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Hamilton homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Hamilton makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Hamilton is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's northside ranges from the grand old homes of Ascot, Hamilton and Clayfield to family suburbs like Aspley, Chermside and Bracken Ridge and the bayside villages of Sandgate and Shorncliffe. From Hamilton to nearby Ascot and Bulimba, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Many Hamilton homes are character Queenslanders and older workers cottages with corrugated iron roofs. Tin roofs are quick to mount on, and we keep conduit runs neat and out of sight on heritage-style facades.

Getting to know Hamilton
The Hamilton Hotel, thought to have been built by Gustavus Hamilton, lent its name to the whole district. Estates such as Belle Vue and Hamilton Reach went under the hammer between 1884 and 1887. Hamilton State School opened in 1907 and the library in 1947. In 2008 plans were announced to turn old wharf and industrial land into Northshore Hamilton, which is earmarked for the 2032 Olympic Village.
The Brisbane River forms the southern boundary along Hamilton Reach. North of Kingsford Smith Drive, hilly streets climb to Toorak Hill at 64 metres with views back to the city. Racecourse Road is the go-to strip for dining and shopping. CityCats stop at Bretts Wharf and Northshore Hamilton, and the heritage-listed Hamilton Town Hall still stands.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Hamilton?
Most Hamilton homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Hamilton?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Hamilton?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Hamilton 4007 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Hamilton is part of our Brisbane Northside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Ascot, Bulimba, Albion, Newstead. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
