Solar panels in Kingston, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Kingston, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Kingston homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Kingston makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Kingston is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. From Kingston to nearby Logan Central and Slacks Creek, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.

Getting to know Kingston
Charles and Harriet Kingston lent their name to the area in 1890, a few years after the Kingston Railway Station Estate was offered at auction. Dairy farms spread from the 1890s, and a co-operative butter factory opened in 1907. Gold brought a twist: underground mining began in 1913 and an open cut ran from 1932 to 1954. The pit was filled and turned into housing in the late 1960s.
Mostly residential, Kingston also has pockets of industry, shops and offices. Scrubby Creek runs along the southern boundary. The old butter factory is now a community arts centre with a theatre and museum, and Mount Taylor Parklands opened in 1991 on the former mine site. Heritage-listed Mayes Cottage and the pioneer cemetery are worth a look, and Kingston station has trains to Brisbane and Beenleigh.

Solar panels in Kingston: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Kingston?
Most Kingston homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Kingston?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Kingston?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Kingston 4114 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Kingston is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Logan Central, Slacks Creek, Woodridge, Loganlea. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
