Solar Panels Woodridge: local, honest, done right
Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Woodridge system around your roof, your shading and your bills.
A typical 6.6kW system in Woodridge makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Woodridge is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. We look after Woodridge and the surrounding suburbs of Logan Central, Karawatha and Kingston, so a free on-site measure in 4114 is easy to book.

About Woodridge
After the South Coast railway went through, the area was surveyed in 1888 as Booran, from a Yugarabul word for wind, and 30 building blocks went to auction in 1889. Timber getter Dugald Graham won approval for a siding in 1913, and the spot became Graham's Siding. When the railways built a platform in 1917 they chose Woodridge, an informal name for Octavius Stubbs's property. A wave of new schools opened between 1969 and 1975.
Just north of Logan Central, Woodridge is a compact suburb of nearly 13,000 people on 4.7 square kilometres. Green space includes Booran Park, Morgan Park, Acacia Forest Park and part of Karawatha Forest Park, while Oates Park and Woodridge Adventure Park both have skate bowls. Fire, ambulance and SES crews are based locally. Woodridge North and Harris Fields state schools and St Paul's serve families, and Trinder Park station is close by.

Solar panels in Woodridge: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Woodridge?
Most Woodridge homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Woodridge?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Woodridge?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Woodridge 4114 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Woodridge is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Logan Central, Karawatha, Kingston, Slacks Creek. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
