Solar Panels Springbrook: local, honest, done right
Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Springbrook system around your roof, your shading and your bills.
A typical 6.6kW system in Springbrook makes about 28.4kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 43kWh. Springbrook is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
The southern Gold Coast stretches from Coolangatta and the beaches of Palm Beach and Burleigh back to Robina, Mudgeeraba and the valleys of Currumbin and Tallebudgera, with everything from beachfront units to acreage. We look after Springbrook and the surrounding suburbs of Austinville, Bonogin and Neranwood, so a free on-site measure in 4213 is easy to book.
- Plenty of Springbrook properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

About Springbrook
Once known as the Numinbah Plateau, this country was a timber reserve until 1906, when it opened for farming and James Hardy and other families came up from northern New South Wales. Dairying proved hard going, so settlers cleared timber instead. A road went in during the mid 1920s, the first car arrived in June 1926, and tourism took over. The early name Springwood became Springbrook to stop mail going to the Blue Mountains.
Up on what remains of the ancient Tweed Volcano, Springbrook is a rainforest plateau running along the New South Wales border. Mount Mumdjin tops out at 1,021 metres. Visitors come for Purling Brook Falls, the Natural Bridge rock arch and the Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk, much of it inside Springbrook National Park. About 705 residents share a small state school, a community centre and a volunteer ambulance station.

Solar panels in Springbrook: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Springbrook?
Most Springbrook homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Springbrook?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Springbrook?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Springbrook 4213 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Springbrook is part of our Southern Gold Coast service area in the City of Gold Coast area, and we regularly work in Austinville, Bonogin, Neranwood, Tallebudgera Valley. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
