Solar Panels Tallebudgera: local, honest, done right
Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Tallebudgera system around your roof, your shading and your bills.
A typical 6.6kW system in Tallebudgera makes about 28.4kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 43kWh. Tallebudgera is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
The southern Gold Coast stretches from Coolangatta and the beaches of Palm Beach and Burleigh back to Robina, Mudgeeraba and the valleys of Currumbin and Tallebudgera, with everything from beachfront units to acreage. We look after Tallebudgera and the surrounding suburbs of Currumbin Valley, Elanora and Reedy Creek, so a free on-site measure in 4228 is easy to book.

About Tallebudgera
The Tulgigin clan are the traditional owners of this country. Tallebudgera State School opened in October 1877, and in 1904 some 10,000 acres were cut into 36 dairy farms and sold as the Tallebudgera and Currumbin Estate. The village was first known as Maybree, while Tallebudgera, the creek's name, is said to mean 'good fish'. St Andrew's Lutheran College opened in 1993.
Tallebudgera Creek forms parts of the suburb's boundaries. The 18-hole Tallebudgera Golf Course is on Guineas Creek Road, and two big schools anchor the area: the state primary, with 771 students in 2017, and St Andrew's Lutheran College, with over 1,200. The old post office on Trees Road is heritage-listed, and a concrete bridge replaced the wooden Coplicks bridge in 2019.

Solar panels in Tallebudgera: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Tallebudgera?
Most Tallebudgera homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Tallebudgera?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Tallebudgera?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Tallebudgera 4228 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Tallebudgera is part of our Southern Gold Coast service area in the City of Gold Coast area, and we regularly work in Currumbin Valley, Elanora, Reedy Creek, West Burleigh. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
