EV charger installation in Paradise Point
A 7kW home charger adds around 40km of range an hour, and with solar it can cost close to nothing.
Why Paradise Point homes choose RS Energy for ev chargers
A standard power point adds only about 10km of range an hour. A dedicated 7kW wall charger is around four times faster, and a solar-aware charger can soak up your surplus solar during the day instead of exporting it for a few cents.
We check your switchboard and main supply, recommend single or three phase charging, and install the charger neatly where your car actually parks. In Paradise Point we can also pair the charger with new solar or a battery so it all works together.
The northern Gold Coast is one of the fastest growing parts of Queensland, from the canals of Runaway Bay and Hope Island to new estates in Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau and semi-rural blocks around Wongawallan. Our ev chargers work in Paradise Point also covers neighbouring Hollywell, Coombabah and Runaway Bay, all within about 4km.
- Being close to the water, Paradise Point gets salt-laden sea breezes. We use corrosion-resistant racking, stainless fixings and panels and inverters rated for coastal sites, and we design to the local wind loading.

Paradise Point: a local snapshot
Growth here has come with island developments. The population rose to 5,930 by 2011 as Ephraim Island and the Sovereign Islands filled with homes, reached 6,536 in 2016 and passed 7,000 by 2021. A 2014 survey placed King Charles Drive fourth in Queensland for million-dollar houses, well ahead of most streets in the state.
Big waterfront homes on the Sovereign Islands and Ephraim Island often carry pools and large air conditioning loads, which suits bigger arrays with battery storage, while the Broadwater air calls for corrosion-resistant hardware.
