Solar Panels Beenleigh: local, honest, done right

Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Beenleigh system around your roof, your shading and your bills.

A typical 6.6kW system in Beenleigh makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Beenleigh is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. We look after Beenleigh and the surrounding suburbs of Mount Warren Park, Eagleby and Holmview, so a free on-site measure in 4207 is easy to book.

About Beenleigh

John Davy and Frank Gooding planted sugarcane here in the 1860s and named their plantation after the family estate back in Devon. William Fryar surveyed the town in July 1866, and the first mill went up a year later. By 1885 the district had 29 more mills, and the railway arrived that same year. Dairying followed in 1889 and an abattoir in 1952, before Brisbane and the Gold Coast grew out to meet it from the 1980s.

The old sugar town sits close to where the Logan and Albert rivers join, with the Pacific Motorway alongside and the Gold Coast line running through the centre. The heritage-listed Rum Distillery and the Beenleigh Historical Village, with its 20 old buildings, keep the past on show. Three shopping centres, a Mitre 10 MEGA, two theatres and Logan River Parklands serve locals, and newer high-rise buildings now share the skyline.

How much does solar cost in Beenleigh?

Most Beenleigh homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.

What size solar system do I need in Beenleigh?

Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.

Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?

Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.

How long does installation take?

Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.

Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Beenleigh?

Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.

Do you service Beenleigh 4207 and nearby suburbs?

Yes. Beenleigh is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Mount Warren Park, Eagleby, Holmview, Edens Landing. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
