Solar Panels Burpengary East: local, honest, done right
Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Burpengary East system around your roof, your shading and your bills.
A typical 6.6kW system in Burpengary East makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Burpengary East is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
North Brisbane and Moreton Bay run from Albany Creek and Strathpine through North Lakes and Narangba to Caboolture and Bribie Island, taking in the Redcliffe Peninsula and acreage around Samford and Dayboro. We look after Burpengary East and the surrounding suburbs of Burpengary, Beachmere and Deception Bay, so a free on-site measure in 4505 is easy to book.
- Newer homes in Burpengary East usually have clean, unshaded roofs and modern switchboards, which keeps installs quick. Estate covenants rarely restrict solar, but we check before we quote.

About Burpengary East
Until 2010 this was simply the eastern side of Burpengary. That year it was gazetted as a separate suburb, recognising a distinct area bounded by water and the Bruce Highway. Community life has grown around places like Krause Park and the Burpengary and District Men's Shed, which is also where the local QCWA group meets.
Three waterways shape the map. The Caboolture River runs along the north eastern edge, Burpengary Creek flows east to Deception Bay, and Little Burpengary Creek roughly marks the south. Much of the creek land is grazing country or marsh, and the Deception Bay Conservation Park covers the south east. Housing ranges from smaller suburban blocks to larger rural residential lots, and there is a boat ramp on Uhlmann Road.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Burpengary East?
Most Burpengary East homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Burpengary East?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Burpengary East?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Burpengary East 4505 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Burpengary East is part of our North Brisbane & Moreton Bay service area in the City of Moreton Bay area, and we regularly work in Burpengary, Beachmere, Deception Bay, Morayfield. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
