Solar panels in Carbrook, installed properly
A family solar company that measures your roof, explains the numbers and installs it right the first time.
Why Carbrook homes choose RS Energy for solar panels
Plenty of companies sell solar on price alone. We sell it on quality, because a system that is designed and installed well keeps paying you back for decades. Every Carbrook quote starts with a free measure of your roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Carbrook makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Carbrook is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. Our solar panels work in Carbrook also covers neighbouring Alberton, Redland Bay and Woongoolba, all within about 6km.
- Plenty of Carbrook properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

Carbrook: a local snapshot
German settlers came in 1867 and named the place Gramzow, after a village in the Uckermark region of northern Germany. The Alberton Ferry started crossing the Logan in 1870 and kept going until 1948. Gramzow State School opened in 1877. In 1916, with German names out of favour during World War I, the district became Carbrook. Calvary Christian College arrived in 1978 and Kimberley College in 2000.
Carbrook sits where the Albert River flows into the Logan, near the golf club, with an oxbow lake at the south end of the course. Native Dog Creek and California Creek wind through, and Beenleigh-Redland Bay Road runs west to east. Bayside Wake Park offers cable skiing, there are two council boat ramps and a caravan park, and Great Southern Memorial Park is the local cemetery and crematorium.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Carbrook?
Most Carbrook homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Carbrook?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Carbrook?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Carbrook 4130 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Carbrook is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Alberton, Redland Bay, Woongoolba, Stapylton. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
