Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Cornubia, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Cornubia homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Cornubia makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Cornubia is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Logan blends established suburbs such as Springwood, Shailer Park and Browns Plains with new communities at Yarrabilba, Park Ridge and Logan Reserve, plus acreage through Jimboomba, Greenbank and Munruben. From Cornubia to nearby Shailer Park and Tanah Merah, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Plenty of Cornubia properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

Getting to know Cornubia
In the 1920s this was Cornubia Park, a large farm cutting timber, running dairy cows and growing corn, oats and barley. The Jessen family bought it in September 1934 and shortened the name to Cornubia. It was sold and cut into smaller lots in 1956, gazetted as a locality in 1975, and by the early 1980s houses were going up. St Matthew's opened in 1984 and Chisholm Catholic College in 1992.
Bushland is a big part of Cornubia. The 196 hectare Cornubia Forest Nature Refuge covers the north-west, including the escarpment, with tracks for walking and mountain biking. Even the street names, like Sugarwood, nod to the trees. Beenleigh-Redland Bay Road crosses the south. The suburb is home to about 7,800 residents, and two Catholic schools, St Matthew's and Chisholm Catholic College, serve the area.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Cornubia?
Most Cornubia homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Cornubia?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Cornubia?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Cornubia 4130 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Cornubia is part of our Logan service area in the Logan City Council area, and we regularly work in Shailer Park, Tanah Merah, Loganholme, Mount Cotton. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
