Solar Panels Dayboro: local, honest, done right
Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Dayboro system around your roof, your shading and your bills.
A typical 6.6kW system in Dayboro makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Dayboro is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
North Brisbane and Moreton Bay run from Albany Creek and Strathpine through North Lakes and Narangba to Caboolture and Bribie Island, taking in the Redcliffe Peninsula and acreage around Samford and Dayboro. We look after Dayboro and the surrounding suburbs of Ocean View, Greenstone and Wagtail Grove, so a free on-site measure in 4521 is easy to book.
- Plenty of Dayboro properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

About Dayboro
Dayboro has had three names. It was Hamilton from 1875, then Terrors Creek from 1892, after a creek named for Captain John Griffin's grey Arab stallion. Postal officials thought that sounded too close to Torrens Creek, so in 1917 it became Dayboro, after sugar pioneer William Henry Day. A store and hotel started the town in the early 1890s, and a butter factory followed in 1903.
The town sits on the North Pine River with Terrors Creek running through and the D'Aguilar Range rising to the north. Avocado and pineapple farms and dairy cattle fill the surrounding country. The old railway, closed beyond Ferny Grove in 1955, left bridges and cuttings behind. The rodeo and show, the monthly country markets and the Dayboro Day Festival, which draws over 20,000 visitors, keep the calendar full.

Solar panels in Dayboro: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Dayboro?
Most Dayboro homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Dayboro?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Dayboro?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Dayboro 4521 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Dayboro is part of our North Brisbane & Moreton Bay service area in the City of Moreton Bay area, and we regularly work in Ocean View, Greenstone, Wagtail Grove, Corymbia. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
