Solar panels in Gaven, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Gaven, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Gaven homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Gaven makes about 28.4kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 43kWh. Gaven is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
The central Gold Coast takes in the high-rise strip from Broadbeach to Main Beach, the canal homes of Bundall, Benowa and Isle of Capri, and family suburbs like Ashmore, Nerang and Carrara. From Gaven to nearby Pacific Pines and Parkwood, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.

Getting to know Gaven
Gaven honours Eric Gaven, who sat on Nerang Shire Council from 1935 to 1949 and then chaired Albert Shire Council from 1949 to 1950. The state electorate shares the name. A state school called Gaven opened on 27 January 1995, though boundary changes mean it now sits within Oxenford.
Just north of Nerang, with the Pacific Motorway forming its eastern edge, Gaven is a small rural residential locality where paddocks still sit beside homes, for example around Cockatoo Court. About 1,640 people lived here in 2021. There are no schools inside the boundary, so families use Pacific Pines, Arundel and Nerang schools nearby.

Solar panels in Gaven: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Gaven?
Most Gaven homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Gaven?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Gaven?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Gaven 4211 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Gaven is part of our Central Gold Coast service area in the City of Gold Coast area, and we regularly work in Pacific Pines, Parkwood, Arundel, Molendinar. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
