Solar Panels Holland Park: local, honest, done right
Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Holland Park system around your roof, your shading and your bills.
A typical 6.6kW system in Holland Park makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Holland Park is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake. We look after Holland Park and the surrounding suburbs of Holland Park West, Greenslopes and Coorparoo, so a free on-site measure in 4121 is easy to book.

About Holland Park
Merchant Julius Holland bought a large block of scrub on speculation, and estates around it later took his name. Farming dominated from 1865. A mosque was built on the Mount Gravatt edge in 1908, trams reached a Holland Park terminus in 1926, and Queensland's first crematorium opened at Mount Thompson in 1934. The US Army ran a hospital on Logan Road in 1942, and its huts later became homes.
Slightly hilly and split down the middle by Logan Road, the suburb mixes mostly post-war timber houses with shops and a pub along the main road. The Brisbane Mosque is heritage listed, and Mount Thompson Crematorium is the oldest in the state. A council library on Seville Road, refreshed in 2015, plus a number of schools and parks round things out, about 9 km from the CBD.

Solar panels in Holland Park: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Holland Park?
Most Holland Park homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Holland Park?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Holland Park?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Holland Park 4121 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Holland Park is part of our Brisbane Southside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Holland Park West, Greenslopes, Coorparoo, Camp Hill. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
