Solar Repairs Carseldine: local, honest, done right

Inverters are the hardest working part of a solar system and most last 10 to 15 years. When one fails, your panels keep sitting in the sun but you get nothing from them. Many Carseldine homes also have systems that were installed by companies no longer around.

We test the array, inverter, isolators and wiring, then give you a clear written report. If replacement makes more sense, we will quote a like-for-like inverter or a hybrid inverter that is ready for a battery.

Brisbane's northside ranges from the grand old homes of Ascot, Hamilton and Clayfield to family suburbs like Aspley, Chermside and Bracken Ridge and the bayside villages of Sandgate and Shorncliffe. We look after Carseldine and the surrounding suburbs of Aspley, Bridgeman Downs and Fitzgibbon, so a free on-site measure in 4034 is easy to book.

About Carseldine

William Carseldine, a fencing contractor who arrived in 1854 and settled at Bald Hills four years later, was honoured when the Place Names Board created the suburb in August 1975. That same year a college of advanced education opened a campus here, which later became part of QUT. QUT left in 2008, the buildings housed public servants from 2012, and in 2016 plans were announced for the Carseldine Urban Village.

Repairs & upgrades in Carseldine: questions

How do I know if my solar system is faulty?

Common signs are an inverter showing a red light or error code, a blank screen during the day, a power bill that jumps without a change in usage, or monitoring that shows zero output on a sunny day.

Do you fix systems you did not install?

Yes. A lot of our repair work in Carseldine is on systems from companies that have since closed. We work on all mainstream brands.

Should I repair or replace my inverter?

If the inverter is under warranty, we will help you claim it. If it is over 10 years old and out of warranty, replacing it is usually better value than repairing, and it is a good moment to consider a battery-ready hybrid.

How often should solar panels be checked?

Every two to three years is a good rule, or sooner near the coast where salt air is harder on fixings and isolators.

Do you service Carseldine 4034 and nearby suburbs?

Yes. Carseldine is part of our Brisbane Northside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Aspley, Bridgeman Downs, Fitzgibbon, Bracken Ridge. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
