Solar Repairs Kurwongbah: local, honest, done right

Inverters are the hardest working part of a solar system and most last 10 to 15 years. When one fails, your panels keep sitting in the sun but you get nothing from them. Many Kurwongbah homes also have systems that were installed by companies no longer around.

We test the array, inverter, isolators and wiring, then give you a clear written report. If replacement makes more sense, we will quote a like-for-like inverter or a hybrid inverter that is ready for a battery.

North Brisbane and Moreton Bay run from Albany Creek and Strathpine through North Lakes and Narangba to Caboolture and Bribie Island, taking in the Redcliffe Peninsula and acreage around Samford and Dayboro. We look after Kurwongbah and the surrounding suburbs of Dakabin, Kallangur and Narangba, so a free on-site measure in 4503 is easy to book.

  • Plenty of Kurwongbah properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

About Kurwongbah

The story here is really about water. Sideling Creek Dam was commissioned in 1957, and the following year a local newspaper competition picked the name Kurwongbah, said to be the Kabi word for the creek and to mean black duck. The local state school opened in 1986, although it actually sits over the boundary in Petrie.

Repairs & upgrades in Kurwongbah: questions

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.

How do I know if my solar system is faulty?

Common signs are an inverter showing a red light or error code, a blank screen during the day, a power bill that jumps without a change in usage, or monitoring that shows zero output on a sunny day.

Do you fix systems you did not install?

Yes. A lot of our repair work in Kurwongbah is on systems from companies that have since closed. We work on all mainstream brands.

Should I repair or replace my inverter?

If the inverter is under warranty, we will help you claim it. If it is over 10 years old and out of warranty, replacing it is usually better value than repairing, and it is a good moment to consider a battery-ready hybrid.

How often should solar panels be checked?

Every two to three years is a good rule, or sooner near the coast where salt air is harder on fixings and isolators.

Do you service Kurwongbah 4503 and nearby suburbs?

Yes. Kurwongbah is part of our North Brisbane & Moreton Bay service area in the City of Moreton Bay area, and we regularly work in Dakabin, Kallangur, Narangba, North Lakes. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
