Solar repairs and inverter replacement in Merrimac
Health checks, fault finding and inverter replacements for any brand of solar system in Merrimac, including ones we did not install.
Solar Repairs Merrimac: local, honest, done right
Inverters are the hardest working part of a solar system and most last 10 to 15 years. When one fails, your panels keep sitting in the sun but you get nothing from them. Many Merrimac homes also have systems that were installed by companies no longer around.
We test the array, inverter, isolators and wiring, then give you a clear written report. If replacement makes more sense, we will quote a like-for-like inverter or a hybrid inverter that is ready for a battery.
The southern Gold Coast stretches from Coolangatta and the beaches of Palm Beach and Burleigh back to Robina, Mudgeeraba and the valleys of Currumbin and Tallebudgera, with everything from beachfront units to acreage. We look after Merrimac and the surrounding suburbs of Robina, Clear Island Waters and Worongary, so a free on-site measure in 4226 is easy to book.

About Merrimac
Thomas Blacket Stephens bought 6,980 acres here in 1873, and his son William and the family dug drains through the swampy ground so it could carry dairy cows, sheep, cattle and sugarcane. Ann Stephens gave the property its name, though nobody is sure why. In 1908 a Victorian syndicate bought the land and carved it into small farms, sold as the Stephens Estate. A state school followed on 25 July 1917.

Repairs & upgrades in Merrimac: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How do I know if my solar system is faulty?
Common signs are an inverter showing a red light or error code, a blank screen during the day, a power bill that jumps without a change in usage, or monitoring that shows zero output on a sunny day.
Do you fix systems you did not install?
Yes. A lot of our repair work in Merrimac is on systems from companies that have since closed. We work on all mainstream brands.
Should I repair or replace my inverter?
If the inverter is under warranty, we will help you claim it. If it is over 10 years old and out of warranty, replacing it is usually better value than repairing, and it is a good moment to consider a battery-ready hybrid.
How often should solar panels be checked?
Every two to three years is a good rule, or sooner near the coast where salt air is harder on fixings and isolators.
Do you service Merrimac 4226 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Merrimac is part of our Southern Gold Coast service area in the City of Gold Coast area, and we regularly work in Robina, Clear Island Waters, Worongary, Carrara. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
