Clontarf is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Clontarf: history and local area
Land sales started in 1881, when 108 allotments of the Hayes Inlet Estate went up for sale. The Clontarf estate followed at auction in September 1882, and Clontarf North sold that December. The golf course has been there since 1936. Schools came later, with Clontarf Beach State School in 1950, the state high school in 1964 and Grace Lutheran Primary in 1971.
Facing Bramble Bay on the south west of the peninsula, Clontarf has two beaches, Clontarf Beach and Bells Beach. Hornibrook Pier, built from what was left of the old Hornibrook Bridge, is a favourite fishing spot. Grey kangaroos and koalas live on the Redcliffe Golf Course. Kroll Gardens and Pelican Park are well used, and the western side holds the largest industrial area around Redcliffe.
Clontarf combines houses with light industry, so the same suburb suits both household systems with batteries and larger commercial rooftop arrays on factories and warehouses with heavy daytime loads.
