Ningi is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
- Plenty of Ningi properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

Ningi: history and local area
Ningi means oysters in the language of the Ningi Ningi people of the Undanbi clan. Septic tanks were the norm until 1998, when Caboolture Shire Council put in vacuum sewerage. Since then estates such as Bribie Pines, Grey Gums and the newer Sandstone Lakes have brought in a growing number of young families.
Ningi Creek forms the northern edge and meets Pumicestone Passage near Ningi Island. The conservation park covers the west. Most homes sit on half acre to acreage blocks, mixed with rural properties and state forest. Theo Greene Park, with its playground, barbecues and half basketball court, sits beside the community hall. There is no school in Ningi, so children travel to Caboolture, Beachmere or Bongaree.
Half acre and acreage blocks in Ningi often have space for large sheds or ground mounts, though gum trees and nearby forest can shade parts of a roof, so a site check matters.
