Waraba is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
- Newer homes in Waraba usually have clean, unshaded roofs and modern switchboards, which keeps installs quick. Estate covenants rarely restrict solar, but we check before we quote.

Waraba: history and local area
Long referred to as Caboolture West, the area was made a locality in 2023 using land from Bellmere and Wamuran. The name is a Kabi Kabi word meaning burn, a reference to fire stick farming as a way of caring for country. In August 2024 Waraba became Queensland's 36th Priority Development Area, with more than $100 million in state money for water and sewerage.
The locality itself is just 2.3 square kilometres, about 8.5 km west of Caboolture, but the development area named after it is huge. Plans allow for around 30,000 homes and 70,000 residents, at least a quarter of them affordable or social housing, plus mixed use centres and about 17,000 jobs. There are no schools yet, so students go to Bellmere or Caboolture.
With tens of thousands of new homes planned, Waraba is a chance to build solar and batteries in from the start, sizing systems for modern family homes rather than adding them as an afterthought.
