Greenstone is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
- Newer homes in Greenstone usually have clean, unshaded roofs and modern switchboards, which keeps installs quick. Estate covenants rarely restrict solar, but we check before we quote.

Greenstone: history and local area
Greenstone is one of the newest localities in the Moreton Bay area, created by the Queensland Government in 2023 from land that had been part of Rocksberg. The change was made to plan for population growth west of Caboolture. Its name comes from Rocksberg Greenstone, a type of igneous rock found locally.
This small locality covers about 2.2 square kilometres, roughly 11 km west of Caboolture. It has no schools of its own yet, so primary students go to Bellmere State School and high schoolers travel to Tullawong in Caboolture or to Morayfield. Brisbane's CBD is a little over 60 km to the south.
As a growth area on the edge of Caboolture, Greenstone is likely to see new homes built, and planning solar and battery wiring at the build stage is far cheaper than retrofitting it later.
