Going solar in West Burleigh
The southern Gold Coast stretches from Coolangatta and the beaches of Palm Beach and Burleigh back to Robina, Mudgeeraba and the valleys of Currumbin and Tallebudgera, with everything from beachfront units to acreage.
Over half of Gold Coast houses already have rooftop solar, so a lot of our work here is batteries, upgrades and fixing tired systems, alongside new installs in growth areas like Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau.
West Burleigh is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

West Burleigh: history and local area
West Burleigh began as a township around the South Coast railway, which opened in 1903. The station there was renamed West Burleigh in 1915; before that it carried the name Booningba, an Aboriginal word for the echidna. The heritage-listed West Burleigh Store on Tallebudgera Creek Road is a reminder of the old township days.
Today West Burleigh is a neighbourhood in the south-west of Burleigh Heads, stretching inland along Tallebudgera Creek. It has shops and a small industrial area, and the heritage-listed David Fleay Wildlife Park is on West Burleigh Road. That road, State Route 80, connects to the Pacific Motorway and Varsity Lakes station.
With a small industrial area alongside homes, West Burleigh has businesses whose daytime loads suit commercial solar, while houses along Tallebudgera Creek should keep battery placement and flood heights in mind.
