Going solar in Tallebudgera
The southern Gold Coast stretches from Coolangatta and the beaches of Palm Beach and Burleigh back to Robina, Mudgeeraba and the valleys of Currumbin and Tallebudgera, with everything from beachfront units to acreage.
Over half of Gold Coast houses already have rooftop solar, so a lot of our work here is batteries, upgrades and fixing tired systems, alongside new installs in growth areas like Coomera, Pimpama and Ormeau.
Tallebudgera is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.

Tallebudgera: history and local area
The Tulgigin clan are the traditional owners of this country. Tallebudgera State School opened in October 1877, and in 1904 some 10,000 acres were cut into 36 dairy farms and sold as the Tallebudgera and Currumbin Estate. The village was first known as Maybree, while Tallebudgera, the creek's name, is said to mean 'good fish'. St Andrew's Lutheran College opened in 1993.
Tallebudgera Creek forms parts of the suburb's boundaries. The 18-hole Tallebudgera Golf Course is on Guineas Creek Road, and two big schools anchor the area: the state primary, with 771 students in 2017, and St Andrew's Lutheran College, with over 1,200. The old post office on Trees Road is heritage-listed, and a concrete bridge replaced the wooden Coplicks bridge in 2019.
With roots as dairy farm country, some properties here still have the space for larger systems or ground mounts, while homes close to the creek should keep batteries well above flood level.
