Woorim is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
- Being close to the water, Woorim gets salt-laden sea breezes. We use corrosion-resistant racking, stainless fixings and panels and inverters rated for coastal sites, and we design to the local wind loading.

Woorim: history and local area
The name may come from wurama, a Kabi word for the red backed sea eagle. Between 1939 and 1943 the coast here was fortified as part of south east Queensland's wartime defences, and those concrete remains are now heritage listed. Erosion has long been a concern on this exposed shoreline, and a management plan for it was published in 2007.
Facing the open ocean on Bribie's south east corner, Woorim is the island's surf beach, with Moreton Bay to the south and Bald Point along the southern sand. National park wraps around the north and west. There is a small shopping centre, beachfront parkland, an 18 hole golf club and an aquaculture research centre on North Street. Students travel to Bongaree for school.
Woorim gets the full force of ocean winds and salt, so panels and frames rated for coastal exposure, plus solid fixing for cyclone season winds, should be on the checklist.
