Solar panels in Bellara, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Bellara, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Bellara homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Bellara makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Bellara is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
North Brisbane and Moreton Bay run from Albany Creek and Strathpine through North Lakes and Narangba to Caboolture and Bribie Island, taking in the Redcliffe Peninsula and acreage around Samford and Dayboro. From Bellara to nearby Bongaree and Banksia Beach, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Being close to the water, Bellara gets salt-laden sea breezes. We use corrosion-resistant racking, stainless fixings and panels and inverters rated for coastal sites, and we design to the local wind loading.

Getting to know Bellara
The name is an Aboriginal word meaning good, and the Queensland Place Names Board signed off on it in July 1961. That timing put Bellara in place just before the bridge from the mainland opened in 1963. Since then it has filled in as a small residential pocket between Bongaree to the south and Banksia Beach to the north.
At just over 3 square kilometres, Bellara is one of the smaller localities on Bribie. It faces west over the Pumicestone Channel, and the long sandy stretch of Sylvan Beach runs along its shore. The bridge to Sandstone Point lands close by. There are no schools inside its boundaries, so students go to Banksia Beach or Bongaree. About 3,300 people lived here in 2021.

Solar panels in Bellara: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Bellara?
Most Bellara homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Bellara?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Bellara?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them. Near the coast we use stainless fixings and corrosion-resistant racking.
Do you service Bellara 4507 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Bellara is part of our North Brisbane & Moreton Bay service area in the City of Moreton Bay area, and we regularly work in Bongaree, Banksia Beach, Sandstone Point, Woorim. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
