Solar panels in Brighton, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Brighton, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Brighton homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Brighton makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Brighton is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's northside ranges from the grand old homes of Ascot, Hamilton and Clayfield to family suburbs like Aspley, Chermside and Bracken Ridge and the bayside villages of Sandgate and Shorncliffe. From Brighton to nearby Sandgate and Deagon, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.
- Being close to the water, Brighton gets salt-laden sea breezes. We use corrosion-resistant racking, stainless fixings and panels and inverters rated for coastal sites, and we design to the local wind loading.

Getting to know Brighton
The Brighton Hotel, thought to be named after the seaside town in Sussex, lent the suburb its name. A Methodist church and the state school both opened in 1920. In October 1935 the Hornibrook Bridge linked Brighton to Clontarf across the water. During World War II, an RAAF training school ran on reclaimed land from 1940 to 1946, and Nashville State School and St Kieran's opened in 1960.
Bramble Bay wraps around the north-east and east, with the Pine River on the north and the Brighton Esplanade running along the beach. Third Lagoon and the Brighton Wetlands occupy the south-west, draining to the bay via Copold Creek. Around 30 parks are spread through the suburb, and the Brighton Health Campus sits on Nineteenth Avenue. Trains leave from nearby Sandgate.

Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Brighton?
Most Brighton homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Brighton?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Brighton?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them. Near the coast we use stainless fixings and corrosion-resistant racking.
Do you service Brighton 4017 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Brighton is part of our Brisbane Northside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Sandgate, Deagon, Shorncliffe, Bracken Ridge. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
