Solar Panels Clagiraba: local, honest, done right
Solar is a 25-year decision, so the panels, inverter and installation quality matter far more than shaving a few hundred dollars off the quote. RS Energy is a family-run solar company and we design every Clagiraba system around your roof, your shading and your bills.
A typical 6.6kW system in Clagiraba makes about 28.4kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 43kWh. Clagiraba is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
The central Gold Coast takes in the high-rise strip from Broadbeach to Main Beach, the canal homes of Bundall, Benowa and Isle of Capri, and family suburbs like Ashmore, Nerang and Carrara. We look after Clagiraba and the surrounding suburbs of Mount Nathan, Advancetown and Guanaba, so a free on-site measure in 4211 is easy to book.
- Plenty of Clagiraba properties are on acreage, which opens up ground-mounted arrays, sheds and larger systems. Rural feeders also see more outages, so battery backup is popular here.

About Clagiraba
Clagiraba takes its name from Clagiraba Creek, which flows into the Coomera River. The creek name is said to come from an Indigenous name, Kalagareebah, linked to a ground used by young men. Little else of the early story is recorded, but the locality has stayed rural, home to 651 people at the 2021 census.
Out in the Gold Coast hinterland between Mount Nathan and Witheren, Clagiraba takes in the southern end of Tamborine Mountain and part of the Lower Beechmont Conservation Area. Clagiraba Creek and Coolbunbin Creek run through the district. There are about 11 parks and reserves, including Mango Tree Park and Freeman Family Park, and the rural fire brigade has its station on Clagiraba Road.

Solar panels in Clagiraba: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Clagiraba?
Most Clagiraba homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Clagiraba?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Clagiraba?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Clagiraba 4211 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Clagiraba is part of our Central Gold Coast service area in the City of Gold Coast area, and we regularly work in Mount Nathan, Advancetown, Guanaba, Gilston. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
