Solar panels in Drewvale, installed properly
Tier 1 panels, proven inverters and a clean install from a team that answers the phone after the job is done.
Solar panels for Drewvale, planned around your home
Whether it is your first system or you are replacing an old one, we size solar for Drewvale homes around real usage, not the biggest number we can fit on the roof.
A typical 6.6kW system in Drewvale makes about 27.7kWh a day on average across the year, while a 10kW system makes about 42kWh. Drewvale is on the Energex network. Most homes can export up to 5kW per phase on a standard connection, and newer dynamic connections allow more. We size your inverter to get the most from those limits and lodge the Energex application for you.
Brisbane's southside covers older post-war suburbs like Annerley, Moorooka and Holland Park, the busy family areas around Sunnybank, Mansfield and Carindale, and newer pockets at Pallara and Forest Lake. From Drewvale to nearby Browns Plains and Hillcrest, we quote every job in person so the price you sign is the price you pay.

Getting to know Drewvale
The Drew family farmed this ground from the 1870s, and locals called it Drewvale for close to a hundred years before it became official. The Queensland Place Names Board formally named the suburb on 1 November 1971. Residential estates such as Trinity Green have since filled in the former farmland on Brisbane's southern fringe.
Right on the border with Logan City, the suburb wraps around the junction of the Gateway and Logan Motorways, with a small section reaching down to Wembley Road. It is roughly 26 km from the CBD. With no schools inside its boundaries, kids travel to Stretton State College nearby, and Griffith University's Logan campus at Meadowbrook is the closest place for tertiary study.

Solar panels in Drewvale: questions
Still unsure? Talk to us directly. You will speak with the people who do the work.
Call 0449 942 735How much does solar cost in Drewvale?
Most Drewvale homes pay between $4,800 and $7,000 for a quality 6.6kW system and $7,400 to $11,000 for 10kW, after the federal rebate. We give you a fixed price after a free on-site measure, so there are no surprises on install day.
What size solar system do I need in Drewvale?
Look at your bill. Most families using 20 to 30kWh a day suit 6.6kW to 10kW. If you run pool pumps, ducted air or an EV, or plan to add a battery, 10kW to 13kW usually makes more sense. Energex export limits also shape the right inverter size.
Is solar still worth it with low feed-in tariffs?
Yes, if the system is sized for self-use. Every kWh you use from your panels saves you the full retail rate, which is far more than the few cents you get for exporting. Running dishwashers, pool pumps and hot water in the middle of the day makes a big difference, and a battery stretches it into the evening.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. We book the install once your network approval comes back, then arrange the meter change with your retailer.
Do you install solar on tile, tin and Klip-Lok roofs in Drewvale?
Yes. We install on concrete and terracotta tiles, corrugated iron, Colorbond and Klip-Lok, with tilt frames where a flat roof needs them.
Do you service Drewvale 4116 and nearby suburbs?
Yes. Drewvale is part of our Brisbane Southside service area in the Brisbane City Council area, and we regularly work in Browns Plains, Hillcrest, Parkinson, Berrinba. Call 0449 942 735 or request a quote online and we will reply within 24 hours.
